The idea of StationSoccer began by envisioning soccer fields adjacent to transit stations, starting with the Five Points Station in downtown Atlanta. The success of this project spurred the expansion to more MARTA stations, including Lindbergh. By removing transportation and cost hurdles, StationSoccer ensures everyone in Atlanta can access safe spots to relish the beautiful game.
The StationSoccer initiative has proudly garnered awards such as the US Soccer Foundation Innovation Award for its novel contribution to community development and sporting culture.
